At Dinette Atomique, we like to say that we’re going 2D and that philosophy extends to our kitchen as well. We’re hearkening back to the days of all day breakfasts, picnic lunches, and family suppers. Our food will be simple and nourishing, while keeping it light and fresh. We may not be on all the apps, but we hope to always have a seat for the solo diner, your vegan friend, or your next family gathering; however you choose to define family.
Opened in 2025, Dinette Atomique is the brainchild of Vu Duong and Jeffrey Cassidy—familiar faces in the Ottawa restaurant scene. Duong is an extremely talented and creative chef, who worked among many eateries as Momofuku’s sister restaurants in New York and at Corner Peach in Chinatown.
Cassidy has decades of experience in the bar and service industries. His energetic and sociable personality, combined with a dedicated attention to detail, ensures you’ll have a fantastic experience while savouring some of Ottawa best eats, all in a quirky, cozy, nostalgic and eclectic décor.
